The coin depicts a unique helmet-shaped design that highlights the legendary helmet used by a crusader's knight of the Roman Catholic military order. Each coin comes in a presentation case with a certificate of authenticity included.

The crusades were a series of armed operations directed by the Roman Catholic military order in the medieval period. The crusades happened in expeditions during the 11th, 12th and 13th centuries towards the Holy Land.
The crusader knight helmet is also known as the "Great Helm" it first appeared in the late 12th century and was used until the 14th century. It consisted of a flat-topped helm that covered the entire head with openings for vision and holes for ventilation. A central cross spread across the helmet inspired pride and indicated the helmet belonged to an iconic crusaders' knight.
